Bio

Shahin Yavari is a Director of Multifamily Development at JR Real Estate. In his role, Shahin is responsible for leading all phases of the multifamily development process, from initial underwriting and programming to entitlements, design, construction, lease-up, and disposition for thecompany’s development pipelines in the greater Washington, DC, market.

Shahin has over ten years of experience working on numerous complex commercial real estate development projects totaling over three billion dollars, including over 3,800 residential units and total development of nearly 4 and a half million square feet. Shahin earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond studying Finance and Physics. He is a member of NAIOP and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
